Born and raised in Melbourne, Australia, Sam Oglialoro pays homage to his heritage. Building on the reputation of his freelance designs, Oglialoro grew in confidence and his designs became more innovative. In 1990, he unveiled his first signature collection and soon his skills and creations were in high demand throughout Australia.
In 2000, having gained great respect from industry peers and adoration from loyal clientele, Oglialoro was ready to establish his own label and founded OGLIA-LORO, distinguishing the man from the design house.
Steven Khalil is recognised as one of Australia’s leading designers specialising in red carpet and bridal gowns. His designs are renowned for their elegance and beauty, combining classical elements of bygone eras with a contemporary edge.
From a young age, Steven was fascinated by fabrics, the fall and drape of material. After completing fashion studies at 19, he quickly began to gain recognition for the quality of his workmanship and eye for unique design. He rose rapidly through several bridal houses and was appointed Head Designer at just 22 years old. In 2003, he established his own fashion house in Paddington, Sydney.
Reviving elements of a classical era of European couture, Steven has developed an approach that is tailored to each individual. This is characterised by closely working with each client to develop a personalised couture experience and ultimately, their gown.

7, Cathleen Jia
Seeker of uncomplicated elegance who marches to the beat of her own drum, the Cathleen Jia muse is authentic and understated. She embraces the natural beauty around her, appreciates the aesthetics of fine detail encapsulated with a personalized twist. She dreams of an intimate, romantic affair not bound by traditions, to celebrate her love story with cherished family and friends.
The daughter of a seamstress, Cathleen’s journey began from an early age, meticulously hand-stitching unique creations for her dolls. Her love for creating led her to pursue design at RMIT in Melbourne. As her love for fashion and design evolved, she discovered an affection for delicate fabrics, developing a tactile approach to design. Fortuitously she stepped into the world of bridal and was touched by the love stories unfolding around her. In 2012, the Cathleen Jia brand was born.
Growing up as a curvy girl, Silvana Tedesco found it hard to find beautiful things to wear. As a creative spirit, not being able to clothe myself in gorgeousness was a problem for me. So I decided I would design my own clothes to make myself feel beautiful. This lead to my realisation that I could design clothes to help other women feel beautiful too.
I’m a tough chick, but I cry at work on the regular. Why? Because every time a client drapes herself in a gown that she’s put her soul into, that’s been lovingly designed and stitched and handcrafted to be the material manifestation of HER, I get to be the one who witnesses her first sight of her true beauty.
I design without rules and boundaries, so you’re free to experience the joy of couture with me. You can have as much or as little involvement in the design process as you like. I adore clients who give me a clear vision and aesthetic for their wedding and their dress, and then entrust me with the creative freedom to deliver the perfect bespoke design. I also love to collaborate with you to create the dream dress for your unique shape and individual style.
I’m here to make this part of your wedding or event prep joyful, fun and exciting. I know there can be a lot of stress and emotion in the lead up to your big day, so you won’t find any fussiness or uptight people in my boutique and studio. My team and I are having the time of our lives making your gown – we’ll be dancing to hip hop and Latin beats to match the passion we’re pouring into the detail of your dress.
Because I’m mad about detail. Fabric, material, cut, colour, fit and finish – all will be perfect for you. I trained in my craft from the age of 16 in one of the most well-known bridal houses in Melbourne. I’ve been fortunate enough to have dressed amazing women for the Red Carpet and had my work featured in magazines and media over my ten years in the Australian fashion industry. I give my all to every piece I produce, and to every client I have the pleasure of working with.
Made With Love’s first collection was created in 2013, after designer Carla Jenkins was left feeling disappointed and disheartened during her own search for her dream wedding dress.
After visiting several boutiques throughout South-East Queensland, Carla realized the perfect designs did not exist for modern brides seeking a dress that is timelessly beautiful and flattering, yet unique, sexy and daring.
From her personal experience as a hopeful bride, Carla was motivated to bring her dream dress to life herself. On her journey, Carla became close friends with seamstresses and industry contacts to create not only her own dream wedding dress, but a collection of other stunning designs for the natural, everyday bride looking for a dress that epitomizes her fierce and flirty personality on her wedding day.
10. Bo & Luca

Influenced by the romance of bohemia, our signature slow luxury aesthetic is grounded in traditional artisan techniques, uncomplicated styling, and easy elegance.
Bo & Luca encourages handmade creations and entertwines this value into each gown created under our diffusion brand, Temple. Temple allows inclusivity and ensures that more brides can make the dream of being a Bo & Luca bride a reality.
